Says Managing Director Bob Spittle “we have a real family business spanning several generations. We are proud of our heritage which has been established through employing the best, sheer hard work and dedication in providing our clients a truly quality service. Our in-house professional craftsmen and women are a highly valued team.
We have recently expanded our business and bought a local industrial unit which we will be using for warehousing. We realised the old asbestos roof, poor insulation and lack of natural light meant that re-roofing was the only solution.
We knew the Belmont name through reputation. They have worked a lot in Haverhill and surrounding areas and we contacted the factory manager of a large local factory where we knew Belmont Roofing were working and we were given a very encouraging reference as to their professional ability in replacing their own roof over a very busy production area.
We made contact with Belmont Roofing and their experienced estimator Mike Ward came out to see us and offered very sound technical advice. Having guided us through the many options available, he provided us with a clearly presented quotation. We chose to replace the roof using 115mm composite plastisol sheeting, new insulated rooflights and new galvanised internal gutters and new “Trimline” external gutters. The cost fitted within our anticipated budget and we placed our trust in Belmont for providing what we were expecting in terms of meeting our own exacting standards of service and quality.
The Belmont team from start to completion were excellent. The building feels rejuvenated. The work was completed in just a few weeks, on time and without any hidden extras. The project was looked after by Belmont’s Contracts Supervisor, Dave Lawrence and his team.
We now have a modern looking, light and attractive building which meets current Building Regulations in terms of energy efficiency. I am confident that this building will well serve future generations to come.”
